How Manee Aran Came to Be
Manee Aran was established in Chiang Mai with a single, clear purpose: to make financial understanding accessible to the generation of Thais and expats who most need it — adults in their forties, fifties, and beyond.
Our founders noticed a consistent gap. Financial content in Thailand tends to target younger savers or is aimed at institutional investors. Practical, personal, and compassionate guidance for those navigating provident funds, credit management, and shared household finances in mid-life was far harder to find.
Drawing on years of combined experience in financial counselling, adult education, and community work across Northern Thailand, the Manee Aran team created a curriculum that meets people where they are — in small groups, with patient educators, and without the pressure of product sales.
The name Manee Aran means "precious stone of peace" in Thai — a reflection of what we hope each participant carries away: a calmer, more confident relationship with their financial life.

Financial Education for Adults in Chiang Mai
